You’re already a leader in some way in your life, even if you have no official leadership role. Where are you already leading? What role do you serve professionally and within the community? Where do your friends and family appreciate you stepping up? Think about leadership not as something that you can only do if given the right chance, but as a way that you embody your beliefs in the world. As Seth Godin says, “Pick yourself.”
