Calling All Givers
If you think that Election Day gets all of the attention in November, think again–GivingTuesday is almost upon us!
For those of us in the nonprofit world, GivingTuesday is a Very Big Deal: for the past 10 years, it has marked a day of international generosity and served as something of a way to kick off the giving season, following the gratitude we in the United States share during Thanksgiving.
Many of our donors return year after year to celebrate GivingTuesday with us, which is one of our favorite things about it. It’s also a fantastic milestone day to plug into a new organization or cause that you care about in a time of such overwhelming need. If that’s you, welcome! We’re so happy you’re here and grateful that you’ve chosen to give us your attention and hard-earned dollars.
This year at She Should Run, GivingTuesday is part of our effort to raise $500,000 by December 31. Funds raised will support our ambitious 2023 programming that will continue to demystify leadership for women from all walks of life through encouraging tools, workshops, resources, and networking.
