Meet the TeamBack to Team
Gail is from New York City and has always been inspired by the diversity and culture around her. She has always been passionate about amplifying female voices, especially in Middle Eastern communities. In high school, she participated in YouthBridge-NY, a diversity and leadership program, and served on the grant-giving committee. She also explored women’s propensity and capability for leadership roles through a psychology research paper and founded a public speaking club to help hone oratory skills. She is currently attending the University of Chicago and is studying economics and political science with plans to attend law school. At UChicago, Gail serves on the executive board of TAMID and is on the consulting side. She is also a member of Phi Alpha Delta, the Law Fraternity. Gail is excited to be working at She Should Run as she believes in the importance of female representation in public office being proportional to the general population. She also recognizes that lack of awareness and resources are the largest barriers to a larger female presence in public office and is motivated to work with She Should Run to tear them down. Gail hopes to run for public office one day in New York.
